ACNE ESSENTIAL FACIAL

An acne essential facial is a specialized facial treatment designed to address the specific concerns of our clients with acne-prone skin.

During the treatment, we will first cleanse the skin and then perform a skin analysis to determine the individual’s specific acne concerns, such as the type, location, and severity of the acne. We will then select products and treatments that are appropriate for the individual’s specific concerns.

The treatment may include a variety of techniques such as:

Deep cleansing: to remove impurities and excess oil from the skin.
Exfoliation: to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.
Extraction: to remove impurities such as blackheads and whiteheads.
High frequency: to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Mask: to hydrate, nourish, and revitalize the skin.
Serums and moisturizers: to provide targeted treatment for specific acne concerns.

The duration of an acne essential facial can vary, but it typically lasts between 60-90 minutes. After the treatment, we will provide advice on how to care for the skin at home and recommend any additional treatments or products that may be beneficial for your individual specific acne concerns.

MICRODERMABRASION FACIAL

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses a device to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells, revealing a smoother, brighter, and more even-toned complexion.

During the treatment, we will use a device that uses a diamond tip or a fine abrasive crystal to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells. The device also vacuums away the dead skin cells as they are removed.

The treatment may also include a variety of other techniques such as:

Cleansing: to remove impurities and excess oil from the skin.
Exfoliation: to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.
Extraction: to remove impurities such as blackheads and whiteheads.
Mask: to hydrate, nourish, and revitalize the skin.
Serums and moisturizers: to provide targeted treatment for specific skin concerns.

The duration of a microdermabrasion facial can vary, but it typically lasts between 30-60 minutes. After the treatment, we will provide advice on how to care for the skin at home and recommend any additional treatments or products that may be beneficial.

Facial Service FAQs

How often should I get a facial?

The frequency of facials depends on your individual skin type and concerns. A general recommendation is to get a facial every 4-6 weeks, but it’s best to consult with us to determine the right schedule for you.

Can I wear makeup after a facial?

It’s best to avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after a facial to allow your skin to breathe and fully absorb the products used during the treatment.

Some mild redness or irritation is normal after a facial, but it should subside within a few hours. If you experience severe redness, itching, or rash, it’s best to contact your esthetician or healthcare provider.

It’s best to avoid sun exposure and other activities that may cause irritation or infection in the days leading up to your facial. Also, it’s best to avoid using any exfoliating products or scrubs a week before your treatment.
