FULL FACE WAX

Face waxing is a hair removal service that uses hard wax to remove unwanted hair from the face.

We cleanse the skin with an antiseptic and then apply baby powder to help soak up access oil from the skin. Then, we then apply the hard wax.  Then, we remove the hard wax. The process is repeated until the area of the face is hair-free.

We offer waxing for your upper lip, chin, sideburns, and a full-face wax.  The service takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on how much hair is removed and how fast it grows. Face waxing results can last up to 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual’s hair growth rate.

Before & Afters

Wax Service FAQs

Does waxing hurt?

Waxing can cause some discomfort or pain, but it varies from person to person and the location of the hair removal.  At Skintuitive, we work to minimize pain as much as possible by using high-quality wax and techniques that are as gentle as possible.

How often can I get waxed?

Generally, you can get waxed every 4-6 weeks, but it depends on how fast your hair grows.

Can I wax if I'm on my period?

It’s best to avoid waxing during your period as the skin is more sensitive and the pain can be more intense.

How do I take care of my skin after waxing?

After waxing, it’s important to avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, and other activities that may cause irritation or infection in the days following the treatment. It’s also best to exfoliate the area before the treatment and moisturize after to avoid ingrown hair.

How long does the hair need to be for waxing?

The hair should be at least a quarter of an inch long for waxing. If the hair is too short, it will not be able to adhere to the wax and if it’s too long, it will be more painful to remove.

Can I wax if I'm pregnant?
It’s generally safe to wax while pregnant, but it’s best to consult with your healthcare provider before getting any kind of waxing treatment.

Can I wax if I have sensitive skin?
If you have sensitive skin you can still get waxed.  A patch test would just be recommended.
